Herpes More Condition_symptoms Eye

... and suddenly it was the silence ...

... Fell like a veil over the room waiting for the teacher was playing.
Then ...
"Bravo" shouted the word several times, each burst of applause from the gentleman sitting next to me somewhere. "Bravo!" screamed riptetuto, sincere.
But it is also and above all a "Thank You" for the concert, for 3 (or 4? I've lost count ..) a, for the political price (15 €) and for playing for free to hundreds of people (the room Verdi Conservatory of salaries).

Thank you, Master, for having played with absolute simplicity.
Thanks for giving us two sonatas by Beethoven (the terrific op. 2 No 3, not only on undisputed performer, but also for the ability the composer to write a divinely ...);
entrancing ballad first night and two of Chopin (the first, op. 55 No one, not one of my favorites. The second, op. 55 No. 2, it is strange , especially, do not know yet if I like it, but I think yes);
also: a polonaise and a joke.

to give it away in the final two Preludes and a study in which the synthesis of form leads to a superfine level, and that the result obtained is unique and disarming in its simplicity. Not an easy concession to sentimentality Chopin, which makes the author so loved by many but, also, so molested.
The Master left about Chopin and his piano. He let his hands flew undisturbed and that the notes come out spontaneously from the strings, between the keys.

notes pure and clear evidence that, in one breath, strength and uniqueness of Chopin, and the skill of the Maestro Pollini.

Thank you, and "Bravo".

"notes" in the margin:
1) last night, I struggled to sleep. The sounds of the evening still buzzing in my head and I could not sleep. A little I'm ashamed, but only slightly.
2) the presence of more or less famous people did not bother listening. Maybe I had too many concerns on the eve ... however: even though I had the mother of the teacher sitting in front of me, next her dr. Veronesi, and Dr.. Borrelli few rows back, just his hands were resting on the keyboard, everything seemed to vanish.
not easy for those who know the Green room: On the slope, the heads of people in the front row is at the knees of those behind. Given the presence of the mother of the teacher, I had to give up crossing your legs for the whole concert, because there was a risk of decapitation of the lady.
"Note" at the end: at the end of a prelude played as an encore, ending with a "pianissimo", the mother of the teacher whispered to himself: "Bravo."
Sometimes emotions take unexpected ways to get straight to the heart.

Pollini Conservatory. Political concert?

I read today on Corriere della Sera of Milan some more news about the concert that Maurizio Pollini will take place Friday, June 23 at the Conservatory, and I thought about going.

I am puzzled, very puzzled. The title of the article is
"No to referendum - Concerto" political "with Maurizio Pollini
And the article goes on to explain how the teacher has decided to participate in this concert waiving their own fees, by charging a price "political" of 15 euro, and the idea has come as a party to an appeal Senator Stephen Passigli.
appeal also signed many other personalities from the worlds of culture, science, architecture, etc ...
I am puzzled, but I do not know why.
Maybe because you see a side by side the words "concert" and "political" I shudder to think of a music that is "political", which is biased. When all are trying to say that it is universal, an adjective, so beautiful and important but that few understand the intensity and strength.
Maybe it's the wrong way, reading the interview Pollini's gesture is more natural, more fluid. Consistent with an idea.
But the thought that they can go to a concert of music that people do not give a damn, damn, and politics too, I come back the chills.
Perhaps I exaggerate, I place the music on a step too high, too far from the world. It probably should not be so. Perhaps it is fitting that an artist expresses his ideas, including political, through their art.
I remain skeptical and a little intimidated.
Not so much from Pollini and his gesture, as the hypocrisy that it can generate.
The music may be provocation? Do not you run the risk of exaggerating, politicizing, to divide?
E ' cause a risk to the public? It 's good or bad?
Many artists have done, but now that the point?
I look these days, hoping to find tickets for the concert, and to be surrounded, on Thursday, by persons who are present there for the music, not for politics.

Sample Anniversary Programs

"I just sucked, since his youth, was a ballad singer ; that enough was enough and a floor and a ceiling. But since there is a ceiling, the ballad took the form of a serenade. And sometimes it's very nice to have no ceiling ... "
